How can I get a makeup stain out of a white dress shirt?

I got some foundation on my white dress shirt adn well i cant get it off.





Bleach wont work.





I washed it in the washing machine and nothing is having it come out.





It was one of my nicer ones that was over 100 dollars so id really hate to throw it out.....





the stain's been there for a few days ive tried everything to get it out....How can I get a makeup stain out of a white dress shirt?

Soak in cold water add a small amount of your own dish washing up liquid . Rub the liquid in with your finger tips. Leave like this for a few min´s , then pop into your washing machine on a 40ºc normal wash. You can use a lower temp if you wish, This will remove the stain
Have you tried one of those bleach pens? They usually work really well.
To remove makeup stains, rub shampoo or dish detergent (preferrably a grease cutting formula), or shampoo into the stain. You could also try spraying with hairspray or using a non-oily makeup remover to remove the stain. Then, launder as usual. Good Luck! =)
Blot it with rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't work try a solution of one teaspoon of dish detergent containing no bleach or alkalis, Dawn is good, with a cup of water. Work this into the stain and rinse with warm water.
If you are going to buy shirts that cost that much you need to go also learn to go to the grocery store and go to the detergent isle.





They have such things as ';shout'; and ';spray and wash'; that work wonders on stains.


I am sure they have other products out there that work too. Just shop around.





One thing to do....if your stain did not come out in the washing machine don't dry it in the dryer. That will set it further into the material. Try washing it again or soaking it in some water and using a mild (dishwashing) detergent and rub slightly to see if it will loosen it, then re-wash.
