White powder makeup will give you lighter skin, but the color you get is going to look really unnatural. White powder will either give you paper white skin, or make you look sickly. If you're doing it to be a zombie or something you can try white eyeshadow with a kabuki brush or a powder brush, but if you want that opaque Geisha-style white makeup, MAC's Pro line has a Face and Body foundation or a product called Chromacake and both of those come in white.
